2 Month Weightloss Challenge: Day 18

Do you have to eat any meals with your family? Are they for or against your diet?

When I’m home (as in not at college) I do eat with my family. We eat pretty healthfully together, thanks to my family’s support of my new lifestyle. :) Or, if they have something less healthy, like pasta in a creamy sauce, they’ll help me find an alternative dish, like steamed veggies and chicken or something.

Today, I could feel a binge coming on. I could just feel my body starting to form that uncontrollable craving for sweet, crunchy foods.
But today also happened to be my grocery shopping day, and while at the supermarket, I found this product: Endangered Species Chocolate Dark Chocolate with Espresso Beans. I thought, “why not?” and bought it for myself.
Not only was this chocolate DELICIOUS, but the cacao used in the production of the bar is 100% ethically traded! I was shocked to see the short list of all natural ingredients as well: Bittersweet Chocolate (Chocolate Liquor, Unbleached Water-Filtered Beet Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Vanilla), Roasted Coffee. And that’s it! !
I ended up eating the whole bar, and that wasn’t the best decision; however, I feel completely satisfied and I would’ve done much more damage to myself if I’d allowed myself to binge later in the day.
I highly recommend this chocolate to people who get uncontrollable cravings for crunchy, sweet snacks! Great healthy alternative!
